Mercedes-Benz Malaysia announced effective June 1, 2018, prices of all Mercedes-Benz premium automobiles will undergo a reduction as an effect of the reduction of GST from six percent (6%) to zero percent (0%). As a committed and passionate brand in the local market operating in the premium automotive sector, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia adheres to all laws and legislation with regards to tax mechanisms mandated and enforced by the relevant authorities.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s highlights this year include the launch of a pair of locally assembled high- performance automobiles, the Mercedes-AMG C 43 and Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 alongside the introduction of the EQ brand – which saw the re-designation of the C 350 e and E 350 e plug-in hybrids as EQ Power models. The expansion and enhancement of customer touchpoints also continued with the launch of the updated and expanded NZ Wheels Klang Autohaus, Hap Seng Star Puchong South Autohaus and Auto Commerz Service Centre.
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia additionally hosted a number of lifestyle experiences to customers, including the 28th edition of the MercedesTrophy golf tournament, Mercedes-Benz EQ Brand Exhibition which also marked the local and regional premiere of the Mercedes-Benz Concept EQ, and the first ever Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Kuala Lumpur.
